Yesterday I was late for an appointment(as usual), driving on the 405.
In the few minutes it took me to pass two exits, I had encounters with a
couple of erratic drivers. A little white car comes out of nowhere from
the far left lane and almost shaved off my rear end by inches as it
decided it wanted to get off at the upcoming exit. A short time later a
BMW decided that a more expensive car is entitled to 'attitude' and to
make any moves it can regardless of the traffic situation. He cut in
front of me so close that I had to apply my brakes as if I were coming
to a Stoplight . That was not the end of my adventure. When I got off
the Freeway at the next exit, a Semi almost obliterated my car by
squeezing me out of my lane. Are bad drivers multiplying or has it always
been this way? I am beginning to believe that the situation is actually
getting worse. Maybe because the population of this city is mushrooming
and apparently so is the ratio of moron drivers. There are times when I
just want to stick my finger out the window, or maybe my head, and
scream that they are scum with no grey ;matter or that their Mothers
suck worms. But I never do because I am paranoid of the gun-toting
crazies that are loose on the highways. I had always hoped that the 1994
earthquake had scared some of the people away from this State. And
although many left, about twice that many arrived here to live.
California continues to grow, and so of course will the traffic. And
that's another story................... Let me know if the bad driver
