I am so excited. I just received my Official Sample Ballot and Voter Instructions in the mail yesterday. How wonderful. California has a special Statewide Special Election on October the 7th..........And I can't wait!

Hey Mom, are you going to vote for a new Governor! Gee, me and Billy wish we were old enough to vote. I saw the Sample Ballot, Mom, and there are so MANY people that are running. How will you know who to vote for?

Let's see, there is Joel Britton, he's a retired Meat Packer. And I love to laugh...so maybe I'll vote for Leo Gallagher...he's a Comedian. What about Larry Flynt? Says he is a publisher....hmm, should have respect for a publisher....Mom says only the guys can appreciate him......whatever....she says he publishes to make men happy....Then there is Mary "Mary Carey" Cook. Says here she is an Adult Film Actress. What's that Mom? Hmmm...says there is a woman running named Diana Foss but it doesn't say what she does or who she is....nothing. Don't they have to say who they are, Mom, to qualify to run for Governor?

There are a lot of actors and entertainers here.....ooh look, there is that Angelyne woman that has her picture on huge Billboards everywhere. Mom says she is an old lady but still wants to have fun...so she makes herself look younger ....Is that what you need to be Governor? I counted 134 candidates total that are running for Governor if Gray Davis gets recalled. It's right here on the Ballot: "Shall Gray Davis be recalled(removed)just in case you didn't know what recalled means from the Office of Governor" Yes or No.(mark your Ballot.)

Underneath that is the list of 134 people who would like to take his place. Mom says she is paying a lot of money in Taxes from her paycheck. And that's where most of it is going this year. To pay for this special election. Mom says it's interesting how the Media, and some people standing outside markets to get people to sign Initiatives, can get people to get all hot and bothered and start to hate Governor Davis for totally destroying the Economy. Mom says most of it is hype and Media garbage. You know , like that Kissy face picture of Madonna and Brittany. Mom saw that interview with Madonna on Oprah, and they showed the 'real' film ( The Media will do anything to build circulation she says.) Anyway the whole country is having problems and California has been having problems before Governor Davis took office. Mom says it's just a scapegoat. Don't know what that means. Must be some kind of a stupid Goat.

Hey Mom, Why is the rest of the country always laughing at California? Are we all weirdos or something? I mean we have really good weather, Mom, and not all Californians are stupid Republicans and Democrats, are we Mom? I mean the rest of the country has some of those too, don't they?

I like the fact that Actors are running. I know they make good Politicians. Because I remember my History, Billy. President Ronald Reagan was an Actor. Those were his credentials. He was too, Billy! You just are not a good History student.
I am going to go watch that Arnold vs. Arianna Movie, now, Billy. You know, that Greek Woman and that Austrian Actor who played the Terminator. You know, Billy......If I could vote, I think I'd vote for Arnold.......he's so cool as the Terminator!!!!! Let's go see Arianna and Arnold
