Please pass this American woman's frustrated letter to everyone you know.......

There has been a very SAD story here. Republicans are being trashed?! Really? What about the unmitigated hatred and venom spit out at Democrats as well!!!...........go to Rush Limbaugh, Bill Kristol or Ann Coulter! It's been tit for tat for the longest time..................

I see it on the Blogs I visit online. Anger and fuming and disgust for someone who is on the opposite side of the Political fence. It's all about the hideous 'Frankenkerry' and his disgusting, dirty Democrats that mess up the 'cleanness' of this Country.

Who started this war anyway??!!! I think I can't stand it anymore. Maybe one day we might even start a Civil War. Wouldn't that take the cake. We will become a Bosnia/Herzogovenia all over again.

You think this is a joke? I have seen physical confrontations over this silly Republican/Democrat War. Can we just shut up already?

There are two philosophies here. Accept it!!!!!!! Some people idealize the visions of their country as Republicans and some that feel that the Democrat Party represents their beliefs for the US.

All this name calling and reverting to Kindergarten tactics is making me wonder who Americans really are. John Kerry is neither disingenuious nor vascillating. He has a family and he doesn't want to get nuked and is NOT going to allow that this country be open for attack deliberately. Come on guys. It just takes using your head and some common sense. His so called 'cool' exterior has been dissed by close friends and colleagues, who remark about his warmth once they get to know him. But even if it were true, how does that affect a man running a country? If you are looking for personality in a President, then those are the things you must look for. Why a President can't be human is beyond me. Our expectations all the way around are really quite juvenile.

Even those idiotic TV Journalists are not getting it right. The simplistic questions they ask when they do interviews could be conducted by a 6 year old. And it isn't only Fox News. (although that particular station gets a C- in Reportage.) The other Cable Stations don't do a heck of a lot better.....maybe C-Span gets a higher mark.

George Bush is not the smartest guy in the world, but,you think that he is 'folksy'. ok. I give you that. That means you can go out and drink with him and he will be your Bud. Is that what you look for in a President? Maybe he didn't lie. Maybe he was misinformed. But as an American I have the right to vote for who I want to!!..........without you telling me I am voting for some (come up with your own adjectives here...........I've heard them all) wealthy, Winespritzer elitist who really doesn't care for the people! But George Bush DOES care because, despite being VERY RICH as well, he is 'FOLKSY '. Also, because he wears his Religion on his sleeve, that makes him a better person. Really? So you know that your Religious friends are better people than your so-so Religious friends.....ok........But I don't like religion stuffed in my face. I have friends that are very devout and DO NOT talk about it! John Kerry is a goddamn War Hero for god's sakes! But hey, guys, that's no biggie, let's go tear him down some MORE!!

If you hate me for saying all of this, then so be it. Start the Hate Mail. I am sending this to everyone I know. There is one thing I know for sure. From what I have heard from my Dad and things I have read, the Political climate is not what it used to be. People were more civil in the old days, and even though they disagreed with each other, we did not have the fuming, ranting, dissing Journalists that speak to us today. They are in fact,now, spreading their poison, and it is passed out in huge doses, on the Internet and in emails, in T.V. and on the Radio.

And the sad thing is that the majority of all this 'gossip' (yes it can be proven!) is untrue.

When you vote in November, do yourself and America a favor. Disregard your 'political' emails. Stop listening to your favorite Talk Show Host just because he re-enforces what you have been 'taught' or because he or she entertains you. Start using your neurons. Make 'em work! Do some real research on your own. See if you can cut your addiction to Broadcast Spinning and start to read between the lines. (Suggestion: start with Book TV on C-Span--some of the most intelligent, world renowned, and rewarded authors in the world are featured from 'both sides of the fence'). Be a well informed, intelligent American!

If you want to keep America free, if you want the best for your country that you can possibly imagine, go out and vote on Election Day. But go out there knowing you have done the best you can for finding the 'real' TRUTH. I did. And I did it by listening to people I disagree with as well.( e.g. I listened to Bill Kristol, Sean Hannity among others, and I even listened to Rush Limbaugh for two months.) I wanted to be sure. Not to JUST listen to what people are tellling me. Why don't you do that too?! If you hate Michael Moore, then that would be a good reason for you to go out to see his movie!!...........hey, you are entitled to your views, but only AFTER you have your OWN ammunition and not someone else's!!
