All Dressed up in West Hollywoood

When there are many things going on in your life at the same time, it sometimes becomes difficult to focus on running things smoothly. It felt , last week, as though I was running in many different directions at the same time, and accomplishing nothing.

Anyway, a lot of the flurry is gone. I will be moving soon(in October) and I did succeed in taking care of a few items 'on my plate' despite all the turmoil.

One thing gets taken care of and another one rushes in to keep your brain from going on vacation. Many, many Thanks to MLAH for helping me solve my horrendous Spam problem. He emailed me the instructions for installing the Blacklist. As I am no Blog Geek with zero tech knowledge, he literally saved my Blog life. And although Luigi helped me, we still needed the guidance to get it straight. THANK-YOU MLAH.. It has been so appreciated.

A call from the Doctor's Office this afternoon gave me the info about the biopsy for a suspicious 'thing' on my forehead. The results are positive for a skin Cancer. I am not happy. This will be the fifth one. I guess I have to look on the positive side that these Basal Cell Carcinomas are not Melanomas. But to have your Dermatologist tell you that he has to remove collagen in the process, it is not exactly what I wanted to hear. I hope my forehead doesn't drop. You cannot replace Collagen permanently.

The Lemon Tree Bungalow was a place right next to the Vet Clinic, in West Hollywood, where I would take Sammie for his Chemotherapy treatments. I got used to the 30 minute drive once a week, and although Sammie hated going to the Vet, it gave him 5 more months of life.

Inside the Lemon Tree Bugalow were mostly unique and beautiful gifts, imported soaps, designer Olive Oil bottles and irrreverant Greeting cards. I stopped in there one day and met Lyn and her friends from Australia. She was dressed so uniquely and elegantly, she should have been a rep for the Lemon Bungalow. I had just bought my camera and asked her if I could take a couple of pictures of her. I promised her that I would email her and let her know when I would put it on my BLog.

It is now almost September, and that was last May. It just shows you how behind I have been with everything. But I do know that May seems like an eternity ago, and that I no longer have Sammie in my life, and it is just a very sad memory. But at the same time it also reminds me of all the 'good stuff' in my life, as I visited the Lemon Bungalow again to buy some Wedding Presents for my Brother.
