Do you ever feel like you are on the edge of something, and if you dare to move forward you will fall off, and nothing can save you?
Sometimes we are thrown balls in life that we do not even want to attempt to throw back. It's too much of a strain. Basically being in the 'stuck' mode, can create more problems on top of the ones you are already dealing with.
It takes a lot of courage to propel yourself forward and become mobile again. But when you are truly stuck....what the heck gets you out of the muck?!
There is just too much on my plate. I suppose motivating myself to move, by telling myself the Bill Collector will come after me is enough. But even that may not push me forward fast enough to make up for lost time.
I know sometimes you need a certain calm and serenity that clears out all the garbage from your head so that you can think clearly once again. Sometimes it is called Meditation....sometimes it is planned that you can sit down, shut yourself off from the rotating globe and force yourself to relax. Sometimes that exercise pops up accidentally, in the midst of your stuckedness.
I looked out at my little yard yesterday and observed the tall 18 year old trees that the former tenant had taken such good care of. I noticed how brightly the different hues of the spring flowers stood out at the peak of the Sun's mid-day rays. There were three little bright orange blooms that caught my attention. Whatever happens to you when you discover nature again by accident is a little miracle. My whole body and brain just totally changed their M.O.'s Some sense of peace or floaty feeling took over and I just stayed there and hung out with it, forgetting the time or urgency to go back in the house.
When I finally came back in again, it was with a mission that I must make sure to water all those beautiful plants and flowers more regularly so they continued to flourish uninterrupted by negligence. (Get up earlier !, I scolded myself). But that was not the only result of my flower hypnosis. Everything became clear, and purposeful. I didn't feel stuck any more.
The experience had reminded me once again, of the incredible power of Nature's mint pure, scented floss. That if you use the floss regularly, you can rid your soul of all the old debris and garbage particles that can clog up your life and mess up the health of your soul. (If that's my way of expressing Zen, so be it)
Move on!!.......and I have, and I am restored once again..............Hallelulah!
