The View

I am back. I pretty much have the same problem, although better, that I explained about in my last entry.

Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is not a spinning kind of dizziness.(grateful for that). If you change position of your head, like bending way over, or getting up from bed, you get a little dizzy. There was a tiime in the beginning, several weeks ago, when I first got it, that I couldn't really even look down on the keyboard. It slowly has gotton better. But I do not make a very good sick person, and hated to stay home when I ended up having 4 colds, which apparently makes the ears worse and prolongs the BPPV.

Initially it would take me a while to get going in the morning. So I started watching A.M. T.V., which I have never done before. When I first started to watch, I couldn't believe how boring it all was. Then I started to get interested in a couple of "wake-up" Shows.

Most of it is so boring that I could just as well have watched the Spanish channel morning program, "Despierta America!" (wake-up America), even though I do not speak Spanish. But I discovered "The View", instead.

I can tell you right off the bat, I am not a fan of Barbara Walters. She just does not strike me as a genuine person. And I do not know why the heck she ever became such a sought after Journalist. She certainly is not the most intelligent or intriguing interviewer. In fact most of her Celebrity interviews, like the Prime Time Academy Award Night Show, come across quite ridiculous. She asks the most inane questions. An Assumption here is, that the American audience wants to see those celebrities no matter what stupid questions are asked,or who is asking them!

The other three women on the program are Joy Behar(very funny), Elizabeth (don't know her that well) and Rosie O'Donnell. I really admire Rosie and like watching what she has to say. Most of it I agree with. I especially like her putting people "in their place" when they deserve it. I especially liked her 'war' with Donald Trump. That 'episode' was all over the Internet and the You Tube. Trump is such a 'backside'.

There are so many celebrities out there, that are so full of themselves, that it is great to hear what Rosie has to say about them. One such 'tear down' was a discussion of Paris Hilton'. (the other 3 women added their own fodder to the Hilton 'Burning'). I did not know this, but apparently she got famous by having some very lewd, porno pictures of her and her boyfriend get shown all over the Internet.

I guess it is kind of fun to get distracted for the first few minutes of The View, and listen to what they all have to say on current issues. Rosie is mostly, pretty savy, and very common sense , and down to earth about topics in general. So I put up with BaBaWaWa, just to hang out with Rosie in the morning.
