The Computer is back on, we are moved in, the place is a mess, but...............this is my new home.

There are boxes all over the place, wayward T.V. cables on the floor, which created a dillema for where they whould be placed. Where there once was carpet, now there is laminate floor(fake wood). Where the heck is it suppose to go? Do I trip on it eternally, or is there a solution?

This has not been an easy move. No move is. But ther have been many things to deal with. As I mentioned in my last post, my car broke down on the way to San Diego. It was a conference that Luigi was attending, and I came along as well. I can't even type in how much it cost me, the $ sign depresses me so. But in the long run it is still cheaper than a down payment for a new car and payments every month. My car is paid for. It had it's Birthday on Holloween!... and is now 8 years old. I hope it holds up for a while. I cannot afford this again.

There also has been a personal tragedy in our family, on top of everything else that has been going on. I sat in front of the computer a few minutes ago and said a little prayer. ( I'm sure the President would have been proud of me). It was just a prayer to give thanks for the blessings I already have and to help me keep the strength to get through problems and carry on. It was very cathartic and satisfying and made me feel truly better.

I hope I have not lost the people who were faithful to me in the interim of the lack of Blog posts over the last two months.

I have work to do, but I will continue my Blog as I have really missed it. I'll have to get busy and make changes of course. One of them is to take down My John Kerry Lawn sign (very sad). I guess my Republican cousin and I will have to come up with something else to debate about in our emails.........maybe to continue discussing how wrong I was. Maybe we can come up with something else, Steve.......after all I did invite you guys over to dinner. Don't forget!
